Editing your business details and categories

Open My businesses and choose Edit on the page you want to update. You can change your business name, description, categories, contact details and address here at any time — changes go live as soon as you save.

Categories matter more than they might seem: they control where your business appears in the Discover menu, in category-filtered searches, and in the popular-category quick links on the Businesses page. Choose every category that genuinely applies so people searching for your kind of service can find you.

Search on the Businesses page also matches against a curated set of keywords linked to each category — so a search for 'bouncy castle', for example, can surface businesses tagged Equipment Hire even if that exact phrase isn't in their description.
